  • Udon noodles for 2
  • 2 tbsps Oyster sauce
  • 2 tsps Rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsps Chilli flakes
  • 2 Spring onions
  • 1 Red chilli
  • 3 Cloves garlic
Prawns
  • 10 - 15 large King prawns
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 2 tsps Light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste

Pimp up your noodles!

Prep 30 minutes
Total 1 hour 30 minutes

Firstly, whack your prawns in a bowl with your marinade ingredients, mix and then fridge for an hour.


Cook the noodles as per packet instructions. Heat a wok and oil. Throw in the prawns and fry until cooked through, set aside and don't clean the wok. Re oil and throw in the sliced garlic cloves, chilli and the sliced white ends of the spring onions (save the green slices for garnish). After a couple of minutes stirring, pop in the rest of the ingredients including the noodles. Bubble away until the sauce thickens.


Serve with the prawns and spring onion on top and for a little extra fire, sprinkle with more chilli flakes
