Ingredients
  • 2 Portions vermicelli noodles
  • 1 Mattessons smoked sausage
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 Spring onions
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang
  • 160 ml Chicken stock
  • 1 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Ginger paste
  • Sesame seeds
  • Coriander
  • Sliced bird's-eye chillies
  • 1 tbsp Chilli jam

Pimp up your noodles with some Korean style smoked sosij

Prep 40 minutes
Total 40 minutes

Slice the sausage into bite sized pieces. Heat some oil in a pan and add the garlic paste, ginger paste and gochujang for 30 seconds then throw in the sausage. Cook for a couple of minutes and then add the chilli jam. Let that melt stick to the sausage slices then remove just the sausage.


Add the stock to the pan and stir until combined then either cook and throw in the noodles or just throw them straight in (depends on noodle instructions). Leave to simmer while you crack the eggs in a separate pan and fry.


Serve noodles sprinkled with sliced chilli and then top with egg, sausage, sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
