Crust:
Filling:
- Preheat your oven to 180℃.
- Add your crust ingredients to a mixing bowl and combine with a fork/your fingers to create a dough.
- Roll out the dough into a circle, and place in your desired base/mould.
- Blind bake the pie crust for about 10 minutes until it begins to turn golden brown.
- While the crust bakes, begin mixing the yolk, vanilla essence and almond milk in a small mixing bowl.
- Slowly add in the protein and sweetener to avoid clumping.
- Pour your mixture into your cooked crust, and top with a pinch of nutmeg.
- Return to oven for a further 12 minutes, or until just cooked through. Be sure to not overcook, otherwise it’ll just taste like baked egg.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool before absolutely annihilating it.
