Baked Custard Tart

Ingredients checklist
  1. Preheat your oven to 180℃.
  2. Add your crust ingredients to a mixing bowl and combine with a fork/your fingers to create a dough.
  3. Roll out the dough into a circle, and place in your desired base/mould.
  4. Blind bake the pie crust for about 10 minutes until it begins to turn golden brown.
  5. While the crust bakes, begin mixing the yolk, vanilla essence and almond milk in a small mixing bowl.
  6. Slowly add in the protein and sweetener to avoid clumping.
  7. Pour your mixture into your cooked crust, and top with a pinch of nutmeg.
  8. Return to oven for a further 12 minutes, or until just cooked through. Be sure to not overcook, otherwise it’ll just taste like baked egg.
  9. Remove from oven and allow to cool before absolutely annihilating it.
